ALTA LEADS IN VIETNAM’S PRODUCTION OF BIODEGRADABLE PLASTIC BAG
Since 2005, Alta has not produced virgin plastic packaging products. Instead, developing plastic packaging of organic origin, capable of biodegradation in a short time, while ensuring sustainability while delivering high performance, that is our commitment to greening production.
1. The composition includes biodegradable materials
Alta’s biodegradable bags have 2 types:
– Biodegradable degradable packaging:
Mixing proportions between plastic materials and additives are called D2W, imported from the US. Depending on the concentration and properties of the films, phase them in certain proportions.
– Compostable bags:
Source completely organic ingredients, like cornstarch.
2. Saving fossil fuel resources
Different from traditional plastic production, biodegradable packaging is replaced with renewable materials, thereby helping to save the dwindling source of petroleum raw materials.
3. Safe for health
The bag is made from safe materials and colors for human health. In addition, to process biodegradable bags without burning, just burying, so it does not produce harmful carcinogenic gases.
4. Environmentally friendly
These plastic bags and bags decompose in a conventional landfill or industrial composting environment, causing no harm to the environment.
5. Quick decomposition time
These bags have a very short decomposition time, only a few months to a few years. Much shorter than the 100-500 year period of common plastic bags.
6. Reduce Carbon emissions, greenhouse gas emissions
When conventional plastic waste is disposed of in landfills, it produces greenhouse gas emissions when burned. And biodegradable bags are buried and decomposed under the action of microorganisms to help reduce emissions.
7. Tough, waterproof and many styles
Like regular plastic bags, biodegradable bags still ensure toughness, waterproof ability. Alta offers a wide range of biological bags such as T-shirt bags,, die-cut bags, food bags, take-away bags and trash bags with a mouth, handle, fragrance, drawstring… to satisfy most usage needs of customers.
